Get ready to dig into some delicious pasta for a good cause.
St. Joseph’s Catholic High School is hosting a spaghetti supper in support of families in need locally and abroad.
School Chaplain Jason Dedo let myFM know that you can pick up a serving of spaghetti with homemade sauce, salad, and bun from 4pm to 7pm on Wednesday, June 1st in exchange for a free-will offering.
Proceeds from the supper go towards helping families in need here in the community, as well as food projects the school supports for their mission in the Dominican Republic.
The proceeds will help purchase staple foods that will help keep their pantries full for a few weeks at a time. Dedo tells myFM that helping those in need is a great experience for St. Joe’s students and staff.
Dedo also says that a crew of cooks are preparing to have enough of the special homemade sauce ready in time for the start of June.
Get your orders in to Chaplin Dedo by Tuesday, May 30th by calling or emailing him at the school.
