The OPP has confirmed a pedestrian who was allegedly hit by a car in Pembroke actually fell and was not struck by a vehicle.
The Upper Ottawa Valley OPP says initial reports indicated that a pedestrian was struck by vehicle that did not remain at the scene.
Police originally said the collision took place on May 12th along Lea Street however further investigation determined the pedestrian fell and was not struck by a vehicle.
The OPP is thanking everyone who came forward to assist with the investigation.
