A string of damaged mailboxes is currently under investigation by Killaloe OPP.
Police were called to Augsburg Road near Klingbeil Street in Bonnechere Valley at 6:30am on Friday, May 6th, where a number of mailboxes were left worse for wear.
An investigation led to the conclusion that an unknown vehicle travelling eastbound on Augsburg Road left the roadway in the middle of the knight, striking the boxes. The driver of the vehicle failed to remain on the scene.
