Volunteers make community projects run, and Renfrew’s Bluegrass Festival has gone the extra mile to thank theirs.
Communications and Marketing Coordinator Jenna McEwan tells myFM that there was a great turnout for Volunteer Appreciation Night held on April 28th, thanking them for their work to make the post-pandemic festival a reality.
McEwan adds that a special night for the volunteers was needed as they bring the event back after a pandemic layoff.
McEwan also said the reception to Volunteer’s Appreciation Night has sparked excitement for the July Festival.
The Town and the Bluegrass Festival are always looking for more volunteers, and if you’re interested to get in touch the Renfrew Town Hall.
Tickets for the Bluegrass Festival July 7th-10th can be found on the town’s website.
