McHappy Day is coming up on Wednesday May 11th, but Renfrew residents may have to make the drive to Arnprior to take part.
The Renfrew McDonald’s is currently closed for renovations, with signage outside the restaurant suggesting May 16th as the return to operations for the fast food chain.
In the meantime, you can still make contributions to Ronald McDonald House Charities on May 11th by buying food and drink from the Anrprior McDonald’s. You can also buy a $2 McHappy Day Heart in the lead-up to the day with a thank you from various Canadian celebrities.
Ronald McDonald House Charities provide housing close to children’s hospitals for families who don’t live nearby, allowing kids and their family a space where they can continue to be together while receiving necessary care.
