A good Samaritan who had stopped to help a motorist who had ditched their car in Quyon has been identified.
Police with the MRC des Collines-de-l’Outaouais say Gullaume Breton, age 39 of Pontiac, had stopped just after 8PM Saturday to render assistance when he was struck by a vehicle travelling in the opposite direction on Chemin du Lac-des-Loups.
Breton was struck head-on and died at the scene.
The investigation remains active, according to the Police Facebook Page.
