The Renfrew County and District Health Unit is changing up it’s vaccination clinic plan moving forward.
The Health Unit is phasing out mass COVID-19 vaccination clinics in favour of more frequent pop-ups that will operate on walk-in basis with no appointment needed.
The changes come as demand for the COVID-19 vaccine beings to drop.
You can also still go to your local pharmacy if and when they have doses of the vaccine ready. You are asked to call ahead of time, as vaccine supplies can vary and appointments may be required.
As of March 7th, over eighty-nine per-cent of the population within Renfrew County and District Health Unit’s influence have at least two doses of the vaccine.
