The Upper Ottawa Valley OPP is investigating a collision in Whitewater Region.
On Monday (February 21st, 2022), just before 10:00am, officers responded to a crash at the intersection of Highway 17 and Waterview Road, just outside of Cobden.
The OPP says an eastbound passenger vehicle was struck by a Transport Truck travelling westbound on Highway 17.
The 19-year-old driver from Whitewater Region, who was the only passenger in the vehicle, sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to hospital by paramedics.
The two occupants of the transport truck were uninjured.
The investigation is ongoing.
