New signage is planned at the McDougall Mill Museum in Renfrew.
A new sign is planned at the front of the building at 65 Arthur Avenue and another for the back of the building which would be visible to drivers and pedestrians travelling on Bridge Street.
According to plans presented to council, the new sign on the back of the museum would measure 28.5 feet.
Town Planner Eric Withers says the new signs would complement the heritage features of the building.
A request to fund 50% of the project cost, or $1,915, was approved by council on Tuesday night (February 8th, 2022).
Funding will be provided from the Community Improvement Plan budget.
