COVID-19 has claimed the life of 24 residents living in Renfrew County and District since the start of the pandemic, almost 2-years ago.
Information released from the Renfrew County and District Health Unit (RCDHU) shows another three deaths linked to COVID-19 have been confirmed in our area in the last 4-days.
Details on the provincial website show the recent deaths are a man between 60 and 79 years of age along with a man over 80 and a woman over 80.
Valley Manor long-term care home in Barry’s Bay currently has 20 confirmed cases (11 resident and 9 staff members). No deaths have been confirmed at the long-term care home in Barry’s Bay.
Bonnechere Manor in Renfrew has 31 active COVID-19 cases (23 resident and 8 staff members) with under 5 deaths reported.
Other COVID-19 outbreaks are being monitored at the Madonna House, Community Living (Upper Ottawa Valley, Renfrew South and Madawaska Valley), Country Haven, Champlain Gardens, Riverview Heights, Arnprior Villa, Pembroke Regional Hospital (3rd floor surgical unit), the Bernadette McCann House and the Arnprior and District Hospital (inpatient unit).
