The Upper Ottawa Valley OPP has seized a variety of drugs, cash and a conducted energy weapon following a traffic stop in the City of Pembroke.
Police say Friday afternoon (January 28th, 2022), officers stopped a suspended driver in the area of Church Street and Mary Street.
The OPP has charged 37-year-old Alisha Lemaire of Pembroke with five counts of trafficking a schedule one substance (including cocaine, fentanyl and hydromorphone), possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, possession of a prohibited device, possession of a firearm or ammunition, driving while under suspension and two counts of failure to comply with probation.
The accused was not granted bail and remains in custody with a court date coming up on Thursday, February 3rd, 2022.
