The Renfrew County and District Health Unit (RCDHU) is reporting another death linked to COVID-19 today (February 1st, 2022).
This is the second day in a row with a COVID-19 death reported by the RCDHU.
Since the start of the pandemic, the health unit is reporting 21 local residents have died from complications due to the virus.
Information on the provincial website shows three residents in Renfrew County and District have died from COVID-19 in the last 14-days including two women over the age of 80 and another woman between 60 and 79-years-old.
Dating back to December 29th, 2021, the local health unit has now reported ten COVID-19 deaths.
Another 10 cases are being reported today by the RCDHU.
