Residents in Bonnechere Valley will only have to get a dog tag once.
This year (2022), the Township is moving to a lifetime dog tag license fee for $30.
The goal is to ensure animal control can return stray dogs to their owners and not take them to the pound.
Bonnechere Valley requires all dogs within the municipality to be licensed and wear tags.
Not following the guidelines can result in a $100 fine.
