Upper Ottawa Valley OPP have identified the victim in the crash on Beachburg Road yesterday afternoon. Police responded to the crash just after 12:30. The investigation found that a westbound passenger car lost control on a curve and collided with an eastbound SUV. 27 year-old Brandon Anthony of Pembroke died at the scene. There were no passengers in either vehicle.
As a result of the collision Beachburg Road was closed between Finchley Road and Westmeath Road for several hours. An OPP Collision Reconstructionist and Technical Collision Investigator are assisting with the investigation.
