Arnprior Regional Health is expressing its gratitude to Ontario Power Generation (OPG) for its generous contribution of $15,000 to support the purchase of the ECHO Server at ARH that will replace the current aging technology.
An Echocardiogram (ECG) is a key diagnostic tool that uses ultrasound to visualize how the heart muscle and valves are working.
Sound waves make moving pictures of the heart so that physicians can accurately view the size and shape of the heart and confirm that it is properly functioning.
The ECHO Server is a critical component of the Echocardiogram to store information and images so that healthcare professionals can properly diagnose and treat patients and ensure these images are available for comparison over time.
The ARH Foundation invites the community to follow in OPG’s lead and make a gift towards the ECHO Server at www.arnpriorregionalhealth.ca/foundation.
