Another two people are facing drug trafficking charges following a massive drug bust in the Ottawa Valley.
Project NIELD focused on drug trafficking in the City of Pembroke.
On December 12th, the OPP arrested and charged 25-year-old Zeth Robert Robinson of Pembroke with trafficking crystal meth, trafficking cocaine and two counts of possession proceeds of crime under $5,000.
Two days later, the OPP arrested and charged 58-year-old Diane Margaret Moriarity of Pembroke with two counts of trafficking cocaine, two counts of possession proceeds of crime under $5,000 and failure to comply with a release order.
As part of project NIELD suspected fentanyl, heroin, cocaine, crack cocaine, crystal methamphetamines, and psilocybin were amongst the drugs seized along with thousands of dollars in cash.
Conducted Energy Weapons and pepper spray was seized along with ammunition, rifles and replica pistols.
A significant quantity of cellular phones were seized along with items associated to the sale and distribution of illegal drugs such as scales and debt lists.
The OPP have now arrested 24 people and laid roughly 200 charges.
Further arrests and charges are expected.
