The Renfrew Wolves had a bounce back performance on the road last night, earning a 6-3 win over the Rockland Nationals. Elvis Slack opened the scoring with his 14th of the year for Renfrew, followed by goals from Talon Duff and Jakob Kalin in the first. The Nationals answered with a pair of goals in the second, but the Wolves responded with a marker from Sam Willits. Tyson Tomasini and Chris Hocevar also tallied for Renfrew in the third to seal the win. Sebastian Resar picked up his 5th win of the season between the pipes, turning a side 46 saves in the win. Renfrew sits in 4th places in the Robinson Division of the CCHL. However, the Wolves have played the least amount of games to date. The Wolves are back on the road this week when they visit the Kemptville 73’s on Friday night. Game time is 7:30.
