
Two men have been charged in connection to a stabbing in Arnprior back on October 29th. Renfrew OPP were called out to a home on Elgin Street West in Arnprior around 2am that morning. Police were told that a victim had been stabbed and was suffering from serious injuries. A few days after, OPP executed a search warrant at a residence in Arnprior. 22-year-old Dawson Gordon of Arnprior was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and assault with a weapon. Also, 18-year-old Cole Gordon of Arnprior was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, assault with a weapon and possession of a prohibited weapon. The investigation revealed the accused and victim were known to each other. The victim did not suffer life threatening injuries.
Both accused were released on an undertaking and are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Renfrew on December 1st, 2021.
