The Arnprior Regional Health’s Patient and Family Advisory Committee (PFAC) is expanding its team of volunteers to help improve quality health care close to home.
Faith Black completed her membership term in August, but over the spring and summer the PFAC welcomed
two new volunteer members: Deborah Clark and Shelly O’Hara.
Susan Leach, Vice President of Patient Services and Chief Nursing Executive for ARH believes the advisory committee is an important way that patient and family perspectives are represented first-hand within the organization.
Current PFAC members include: Heather Cassidy, Deborah Clark, Corinne Finn, Bruce Haywood, Carrol Haywood, Shelly O’Hara, Chantale Wall- and, from ARH, Susan Leach and Leah (Lee) Levesque.
ARH launched its PFAC in 2012 and each PFAC member is now involved in one (or more) of the eight ARH clinical committees.
As part of its continuing growth, ARH is currently recruiting members who are interested in joining the Patient and Family Advisory Committee and/or the Ethics Committee and Board Quality Committee.
