The Arnprior Packers will be looking to put more pucks in the net when play resumes Friday (October 22nd) at the Nick Smith Centre. The club will host the Athens Aeros, with whom they are tied for third in the Richardson division EOJHL standings. On Friday, the visiting Carleton Place Junior Canadians downed the Packers 4-2 at the NSC, while in Eganville Sunday the Valley Timberwolves broke a 2-all tie by notching a pair of markers in the final frame and downed Arnprior by an identical 4-2 score. After weekend action, it’s the Perth Blue Wings that top the standings with 11 points, followed by Carleton Place with 10. Both teams have played six games on the young season. Arnprior and the Athens Aeros each have eight points on four wins and three losses.
