After losing an entire hockey season due to the pandemic, there seems to be more enthusiasm than ever for junior hockey. That is according to Commissioner for the Central Canada Hockey League Kevin Abrams.
Abrams also touched on the addition of the Renfrew Wolves into the league, which he says is very exciting.
Abrams says with the newly form Renfrew Wolves, it provides a solid rivalry for the Pembroke Lumber Kings. All players, coaches and training staff in the league has to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and the Commissioner says that should allow teams to have a full season.
