The Upper Ottawa Valley OPP issued a warning about a dangerous game being played in Renfrew County.
Some local students have been playing a game they call “car rally” and parents have been told it’s some type of fund-raising activity.
But in reality, youth between 14 to 19 pay money to an organizer and perform a series of tasks as a competition, which are potentially dangerous, indecent or illegal.
The tasks are recorded on video, and police are noting sharing videos involving minors could result in criminal charges.
OPP says it’s keeping its eyes peeled for suspicious activity.
