Ben Gardiner, Executive Director of the Arnprior Regional Health Foundation, has been announced as a winner of the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy’s “40 Under 40.”
The accolade recognizes Ben’s commitment to the fundraising community as a volunteer and educator (he has been an instructor for two Fundraising Management courses at Algonquin College for the last seven years), in concert with having led the successful completion of the $5 million Come Home to Great Care Campaign well-ahead of schedule.
Shocked by the passing of his mother while still a teenager, Gardiner says he then decided to volunteer his time to help make sure that no one experiences loss unnecessarily- and that decision became a lifelong commitment to the philanthropic field.
“40 Under 40” is an annual list of philanthropic activists working in both the United States and Canada.
