A domino effect spurred a fire at a residence just outside of Renfrew on Tuesday (Sept. 21).
Douglas fire chief, Kevin VanWoezik says it started when the property owner cut metal and flying sparks ignited a tarp, which winds eventually blew onto a car filled with fuel, and engulfed an adjacent barn.
No one was hurt and VanWoezik says charges likely won’t be laid.
