The County of Renfrew passed its official plan.
An official plan is a policy document, mandated by the province, that outlines goals for long-term and short-term development.
Warden, Debbie Robinson says now that the OP is in place, the county has a “foundational document that will assist our communities manage the expected growth across the region over the next several years.”
The OP completed the mandated public review without appeal and is now in effect.
