Votes are now being counted as polling stations across Renfrew-Nipissing-Pembroke have officially closed.
Local residents had until 9:30pm to vote today as part of the 2021 federal election.
There are six candidates running to be the Member of Parliament (MP) for Renfrew-Nipissing-Pembroke.
- David Ainsworth – People’s Party of Canada (PPC)
- Cheryl Gallant – Conservative Party of Canada – incumbent
- Stefan Klietsch – Independent
- Michael Lariviere – Independent (former Green Party representative)
- Cyndi Mills – Liberal Party of Canada
- Jodie Primeau – New Democratic Party (NDP)
