Another 1,184 COVID-19 vaccines were administered in Renfrew County and District last week.
The Renfrew County and District Health Unit is reporting as of Monday (August 30th) a total of 143,972 doses of a COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in the region.
There’s currently 83.1% of residents 12 and older living in Renfrew County and District who have received one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and 77.3% have two shots.
Starting September 22nd, residents in Ontario will be required to show proof they are fully vaccinated (2 doses plus 14 days) to sit inside restaurants, go to gyms, movie theaters, bars, sporting events, conference centres and more.
While mass vaccination clinics are starting to wind down, residents can still get vaccinated at pop-up clinics, local pharmacies or primary care providers.
