Renfrew-Nipissing-Pembroke MP Cheryl Gallant is making national news.
Multiple sources are reporting the Conservative Member of Parliament (MP) has circulated a conspiracy theory about how the Liberals would impose a “climate lockdown”.
Gallant also reportedly had to delete an online video featuring a picture of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau with a noose around his neck.
Gallant has been the federal representative for Renfrew-Nipissing-Pembroke for over 20-years.
In the 2019 federal election Gallant was supported by over 50% of local voters.
As part of the September 20th federal election, the Conservative MP will be challenged by Liberal Cindy Mills, NDP Candidate Jodie Primeau, Green Party representative Michael LaRiviere, David Ainsworth of the People’s Party of Canada and Libertarian Stefan Klietsch.
