The Renfrew County and District Health Unit (RCDHU) says 82.9% of local residents born in 2009 or earlier have received their first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
The RCDHU says as of 8:00am on Monday (August 23rd, 2021) a total of 142,788 were administered through one of several COVID-19 vaccination clinics across Renfrew County and District.
The local health unit says 76.8% have received two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine.
You can get proof that you received your COVID-19 vaccine by submitting information online.
Residents are encouraged to take advantage of COVID-19 vaccine appointments as mass immunization clinics will be decreasing in frequency.
The health unit is also reminding those who have already been vaccinated already to continue following public health measures such as physical distancing, wearing a mask and hand hygiene.
