The OPP with the assistance of the Renfrew Crime Unit have arrested and charged an Arnprior resident following a four month investigation.
Earlier today (August 24th, 2021), police executed a search warrant at a home in Arnprior and seized several electronic devices.
30-year-old Alec Finan has been arrested and charged with two counts of transmitting sexually explicit material to a child.
The accused was released on an undertaking with a court date in Renfrew on September 15th.
The OPP is reminding parents to take a proactive approach to help protect their children from online sexual exploitation by speaking with their children regarding internet safety.
