A Deep River man was issued a DUI after a two vehicle collision in Laurentian Hills.
On Thursday night (Aug. 12), Upper Ottawa Valley OPP responded to the scene on Highway 17.
Initial investigation revealed that an eastbound passenger car collided with a westbound tractor trailer.
The driver of the car was taken to hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries, while other driver was uninjured.
The 26-year-old car driver was charged with operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs.
