The Renfrew County and District Health Unit (RCDHU) says 81.4% of the population over the age of 12 have received one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
The RCDHU says 73.1% of those who are eligible to get vaccinated have received two doses.
The 18 to 40 age category in Renfrew County and District remains the lowest vaccinated with under 60% having received a first shot.
As of 8:00 am on August 2nd, 2021, the RCDHU says a total of 137,774 doses of a COVID-19 vaccine have been administered.
COVID-19 walk in clinics are now available with no appointments required to get vaccinated.
