The Town of Renfrew has lifted its precautionary boil water advisory.
The advisory has been in place since Saturday afternoon, when a water main broke in the Stewart Street (Hwy. 60) area, between Hincks Avenue and Ready Avenue.
Water samples sent to Public Health have come back clean.
Resident can now resume regular water use, however the town advises to run all cold water faucets for 1 minute before using the wa ter.
Garden hoses should also be flushed of cold water for a minute.
