UPDATE: This afternoon (July 28th) the RCDHU reported one new COVID-19 infection marking the only active case in the region.
The Renfrew County and District Health Unit (RCDHU) is not aware of any active COVID-19 cases.
The RCDHU has confirmed 755 confirmed cases, with 746 people who have recovered after testing positive for the virus and nine deaths.
To make it easier for residents to get vaccinated, pop-up clinics have arrived in Renfrew County and District and no appointments are needed for first or second doses.
The pop-up vaccination clinics will appear at Farmers Markets, schools, fairs and other community settings.
