June was Seniors’ Month in Canada and Arnprior Mayor Walter Stack says the municipality annually selects a Senior in the community as Senior of the Year to mark the occasion.
He says Sandra Elliott has quite a list of credentials to substantiate the hardware.
Elliott was presented her appreciation plaque in person on June 28th, then spoke virtually to Town Council in acceptance at the municipal meeting that evening.
Sandra Elliott promised to return to Council in the near future to share the SALC report on Seniors’ Housing in the community.
