Town staff in Renfrew have unveiled their recommendation of who should be awarded the contract to lead the massive expansion of the Ma-te-Way Activity Centre.

Although it’s a costly project, recreation director, Kevin Hill confirmed residents won’t be seeing any impacts on their tax bills.
The feds are contributing $6.4 million, the province is dishing out $5.3 million on their end, and the town of Renfrew is also investing $4.2 million towards the project.
