250 thousand dollars is the amount the Town of Arnprior budgets annually for patching repairs, and for that money this year the municipality will be doing five projects- including one where there are major safety worries.
That’s Arnprior Mayor Walter Stack, who says a temporary fix will be to eliminate one of the two crosswalks at the intersection.
The crossing at the south side of Daniel Street is problematic, and pedestrians will be directed to the north side crosswalk when work is complete.
