Work along one of the biggest chunks of the Algonquin Trail in Renfrew County begins this week.
21 kilometers of the trail from Cobden to Renfrew will be graded, packed and be laid with an application of stone dust to make it more accessible to different users and activities.
This work will wrap up the trail from Smiths Falls to past the Village of Cobden.
The project is expected to last four weeks.
