An extra shipment of COVID-19 vaccines are on their way to Renfrew County and it’s paving the way for new appointments this week.
Additionally, eligibility for second doses has expanded to include residents who got their first dose before May 9th, those who still haven’t gotten a first dose, people 70 or older, high risk health care workers and Indigenous residents.
And if you want to nab an appointment when someone cancels, place your name on the health unit’s ‘Extra Dose Sign-Up List’.
