Hospice Renfrew recently got a surprise phone call from Odi’s Kingburger informing them that the restaurant is joining forces with Kev-Tek Electrical for a fundraiser benefiting the hospice.
For every chicken finger dinner sold, proceeds would go to Hospice, and Kev-Tec would match each dinner purchase with a $10 donation.
Executive director at Hospice Renfrew, Marjorie Joly says owner of Kev-Tec, Kevin Coulas and his wife, Laurie have a personal connection to the organization.
In the end, Odi’s Kingburger sold 1,495 chicken dinners and an raised an additional $260 from a donation jar, raising total proceeds to over $15,000.
