Most public health units in Ontario are seeing a decrease in COVID-19 cases, but not in Renfrew County and District.
The latest modelling released this afternoon by the province shows Renfrew County as one of eight of the health units in Ontario where COVID-19 cases are still increasing.
The Renfrew County and District Health Unit (RCDHU) is reporting another three COVID-19 infections today (May 20th, 2021).
In the last seven days the RCDHU has reported 24 new cases.
There are 31 people in the region who currently have COVID-19 with five people in the hospital including one in the intensive care unit.
The detailed case summary from the RCDHU shows the most active cases are in Laurentian Valley with eleven, followed by Arnprior with eight.
