According to Arnprior Mayor Walter Stack, he’s waited fourteen years for news the Nick Smith Centre Parking Lot is going to be paved.
The Mayor says it appears the stars have aligned to complete the job this year.
Stack knows the parking lot is getting a lot of use as the community’s drive-through COVID-19 vaccination centre, but there are other possible locations.
Recreation Director Graeme Ivory confirms the last vaccination clinic at the NSC will be June 30th, after which the clinics move to the ADHS location.
H&H Construction will do the paving task, under the supervision of JP2G Engineering.
