The Renfrew County and District Health Unit (RCDHU) is reporting another five COVID-19 infections today (May 19th, 2021).
With 680 confirmed cases, 640 considered resolved and 8 deaths that leaves 32 active cases spread out across Renfrew County and District.
There was no new infections reported yesterday afternoon by the RCDHU.
There are 1,588 new cases of COVID-19 in Ontario today and 19 more deaths linked to the virus.
Health Minister Christine Elliott says 524 of those new cases are in Toronto, 335 are in Peel Region, 105 are in Ottawa and 94 are in York Region.
The province says that over 3,100 cases were resolved since yesterday’s report.
Ontario says that over 145,000 doses of a COVID-19 vaccine were administered since the last daily update, for a total of more than 7.4 million doses.
