Portions of the Outaouais Region will see an easing of COVID-19 restrictions effective Monday May 17th.
The affected zones are the MRC Pontiac, Gatineau, and the MRC des Collines-de-l’Outaouais
As a result, high schools will reopen on an alternating class basis for Secondary 3, 4 and 5.
The curfew will begin at 9:30PM til 5AM.
The Red Zone designation remains in effect.
Gatherings in homes and private properties are not allowed.
Restaurant can offer delivery and take-out only.
Gyms will remain closed, and both indoor and outdoor activities are subject to participation limits.
Places of worship may serve up to 25 people.
Movie theaters are open with a maximum of 250 people per theater and masks are mandatory.
The corona virus situation has improved in the affected areas, allowing restrictions to be eased- however continued vigilance and adherence to all COVID protocols remains mandatory.
