Daycare workers in Ontario are calling on the province to prioritize them for COVID-19 vaccines sooner rather than later. The Ontario Coalition for Better Child Care and the Association of Early Childhood Educators of Ontario are pointing out that daycare workers interact with unmasked children at work every day, and yet they still aren’t eligible for shots. The two groups have sent a letter — with more than 10-thousand signatories — to Premier Doug Ford asking him to make daycare staff a priority for vaccination.
