There’s COVID in Combermere, as the Health Unit is confirming two students at George Vanier Catholic School have been confirmed to have suspected variant-of-concern infections.
The RCDHU believes their exposures did not come from an in-school setting, but the students attended class on Tuesday April 6th and Wednesday April 7th thus potentially exposing their school mates to the virus.
Contact tracing is underway.
The Health Unit says that out of an abundance of caution all students and staff of George Vanier
Catholic School must arrange for testing.
Even a negative test result will require self-isolation for a 14 day period.
