The Renfrew County and District Health Unit is reporting a positive case of COVID-19 at Valley Manor. According to the long term care home, the resident is currently isolated and appropriate measures are in place to prevent transmission to staff and other residents. The case also appears to be a symptomatic. The positive case however will not delay any upcoming second dose of vaccinations for the staff.
Valley Manor’s CEO Trisha DesLaurier stated “that while Valley Manor continues to keep the community informed, each and every one of us have an obligation to maintain the strictest of confidentiality for our staff and residents”.
