Arnprior Mayor Walter Stack has released an apology in association with his pamphlet, “My Opinion”, shared with Town residents at his own expense in January.
Integrity Commissioner Bill Hunter passed along his judgment at the Town Council meeting of March 22nd, but intervenor Sophie Smith-Dore, who filed a formal complaint to Integrity Commissioner Bill Hunter, questions the I-C’s judgment and says her complaint is now going the the office of the Ontario Ombudsman.
Smith-Dore believes the Integrity Commissioner spent much of his time at the March 22nd Town Council session rehashing his earlier verdict against Councillor Lisa McGee on a separate complaint, rather than addressing the matter at hand.
