Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for the Ottawa Valley.
Rain will be heavy at times tonight into tomorrow (Friday, March 26th, 2021).
Rainfall amounts will generally be in the 20 to 40 mm range, with up to 50 mm possible in thunderstorms in some parts.
The rain will taper off by Friday evening.
Periods of rain will change to periods of snow or ice pellets near noon with a risk of freezing rain in the afternoon. The temperature will drop to minus 1 in the afternoon, but feeling like minus 7 with the windchill.
It’ll be sunny with a high of 9 on Saturday and more showers with a high of 8 on Sunday.
