Vaccines to battle COVID-19 are being delivered quickly and efficiently at the Pembroke Memorial Centre. Doctors from the Pembroke Regional Hospital, in partnership with the Renfrew County and District Health Unit, are serving up 600 and 1,000 vaccines per day. Dr. Judith Plante, a family doctor who is giving out the shots says. When you come sit in the chair, you’ll be asked a few questions.
The Doctor also says it’s normal to feel a little uncomfortable afterwards.
Once you’ve received your vaccine, there is a place for you to sit for up to half an hour to make sure you’re in good health before leaving. Dr. Plante also says all of the vaccines being used are completely safe and encourages everyone to get it.
